Project Puffin Invites Artists and Photographers to join a Special Exhibit Celebrating the Lives of Seabirds

Puffin ArtistProject Puffin Visitor Center in Rockland, Maine will feature a group exhibit of seabird art and photos in Summer 2010.

Photographs and fine seabird art in all media, sizes and styles will be considered, with preference given to two-dimensional work due to space consideration.

Digital images of works for consideration [limit 3] should be sent to Susan Schubel at sschubel@tidewater.net by March 30th, 2010.

Artists will be notified by April 5, 2010 and chosen works will need to be delivered, ready for hanging, by April 20th, 2010. All works should be available for sale, with 50% of the sales benefiting Project Puffin, Audubon's Seabird Restoration Program. The Project Puffin Visitor Center is open May 1st through October 31st, and works will be on display during that time until sold; though there may be additions to the show during the summer. A reception for participating artists will be held in July.
