REGISTRATION INFORMATION



General Information:

Adult participants must be 18 or older. For the teen session, teens must be 14-17 years old. Prices listed are per person, and include lodging, meals and instruction. Participants must be in good health and able to climb in and out of small boats, and over slippery seaweed. Special diets can usually be accommodated; check with the registrar for specifics.



Registration:

Deposits and payments: To reserve your space, send the registrar a completed registration form and non-refundable deposit of $100; balance is due by April 15, 2010.

  • To register for Joy of Birding (June 13—18), Field Ornithology (June 20—25), or Coastal Maine Bird Studies for Teens (June 20—25) NOTE: TEEN SESSION IS SOLD OUT - WAIT LIST REGISTRATION ONLY, please CLICK HERE to register online.     NOTE: When clicking on the link to online registrations, please ignore the drop down box titled "relation" that requests parent, guardian information. This is only for the teen session. Please proceed to the required fields on this page.

  • To register for Maine Seabird Biology and Conservation [Exploritas program #18493] (May 30—June 4 or September 12—17), please CLICK HERE to register online. For other registration options, please call 1-800-454-5768.

    NOTE: Exploritas has trip insurance available for the two sessions which it is sponsoring. Click HERE for information. Trip insurance for the other programs can be obtained from AAA or most insurance companies. These usually have to be purchased within about two weeks of placing your registration.


  • Refunds:

    Cancellation Policy: The registrar will issue a full refund (less $100 deposit) when a notice of cancellation is received in writing before April 15, 2010. Half of a full refund (less $100 deposit) will be issued for cancellations received in writing by May 15, 2010. No refunds will be offered for cancellations after that time. However, if a cancelling registrant finds a replacement participant to attend in his/her place, the cancelling participant's deposit and payment will be applied toward the replacement participant's fees. Audubon reserves the right to alter itineraries and particular arrangements, or to substitute similar itineraries or arrangements, at no penalty. If Audubon cancels a session, it will issue full refunds of all deposits or payments to the paid participants.
