Where: New
Hampshire and Vermont.
What:
A string of marshes,
ponds, brooks, and backwaters form the pearls along
the Connecticut River Birding Trail, which, like many
a migrating shorebird, traces the dynamic watershed
of the Upper Valley region. The route also provides
plenty of opportunity to stretch your legs, and your
binocs, on trails that highlight the unique birds of
field, forest, and alpine zones.
