Victor Emanuel

Victor Emanuel of Austin, Texas is the founder of Victor Emanuel Nature Tours. He is on the Board of the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology and the American Bird Conservancy. He founded, and for 50 years compiled, the Freeport Christmas Bird Count and is former president of the Texas Ornithological Society. He received the Roger Tory Peterson Excellence in Birding Award from the Houston Audubon Society, the Roger Tory Peterson Award from the American Birding Association and the Arthur A. Allen Award from the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology.
