Share your wetlands success story...

Audubon chapters, state field offices, sanctuaries, education centers, regional campaigns, and Audubon volunteers!

If you haven’t yet submitted your wetlands project, fill out the survey form below. We are gathering information on wetlands projects that conserve wetlands through a variety of methods:

Acquisition
Advocacy
Education
Networking
Land use activities
Inventory and mapping
Legal action
Permit review
Restoration
Stewardship
Citizen monitoring
Watershed protection

To be included, describe in the "narrative" section at the end of the survey how your project "enhanced protection" of a wetland, using two criteria:

(1). Results can be documented: Audubon provided the spark that led to a documented result of regulatory or non-regulatory protection of a wetland, such as acquisition, a conservation easement, stewardship, or passage of a local ordinance that protects all wetlands of a certain size or type;

(2). Progress can be documented: Audubon provided expertise --such as inventorying, mapping, wetlands watch, public testimony, preparing a permit decision appeal-- that results in stopping an immediate threat or in significant progress toward increasing protection.
