PA Names 85th Important Bird Area

Audubon Pennsylvania recently designated 42,000 acres in Chester County, as its newest Important Bird Area (IBA). The Laurels, King Ranch, and Stroud IBA contains the largest contiguous tract of permanently preserved land in the greater Philadelphia region and hosts several species of grassland-nesting birds whose populations are decreasing.
