The preservation of the once thought extinct Bermuda Petrel or Cahow (Pterodroma cahow) . Our organisation was formed to preserve Bermuda's fragile environment.

Great News about the Cahow
Thirty two chicks had fledged. Two were known to have failed (one with a wing anomaly and one found drifting in Castle Harbour), and a third had not come out of avery deep burrow. A total of twenty nine had departed successfully - one more than last year. There were now fifty - five breeding pairs plus five new pairs established this season, which was very encouraging.

Stay tuned for more up dates. (David Wingate is taking his summer break now) If you want to help with a watch, please call David Wingate,(441) 297-2623, or contact us through the email address below. We need all the help and time you can spare.
