Pickering Creek Audubon Center is dedicated to community-based conservation of natural resources through environmental education and outreach on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay. The center is a 400-acre working farm featuring a variety of habitats that represent many of the ecosystems of Delmarva, including mature hardwood forest, marsh, meadow, cropland and shoreline on a tidal creek.

For over twenty years, Pickering Creek Audubon Center has provided quality conservation education programs to students from eight Maryland counties. These programs connect students of all ages to the environment, science and the beauty of the Chesapeake Bay. Over 16,000 students visit each year to learn about their magnificent watershed, the Chesapeake Bay.
