Tiny Tot Program Series
Join Patterson Park Audubon for our monthly
adventures in Baltimore’s best back yard!
Come
explore the wonders of nature with Audubon! Tiny Tot Safari
programs take place one Saturday a month, and consist of interactive
programs designed to connect children, ages 2-5 years, with
nature. During each session, we discuss a seasonally themed
topic, take a hike, read a story, and make a craft. These
programs are one hour in length and meet at 9am and 10:30am
by the Pagoda in Patterson Park. We ask that an adult is present
with their child/children during the program and request a
$5 donation per child, $2 each additional child. To register, call us at 410-558-BIRD
(2473) or email us at ppaudubon@gmail.com.
Owls of the Night Saturday, October 25, 9-10am OR 10:30-11:30am
Why are owls so active at night? How are they able to see in the dark? Which owls live in Maryland and how do they communicate with each other? Find out the answers and make an owl to take home.
Camouflage Critters Saturday, November 22, 9-10am OR 10:30-11:30am
Come discover the many disappearing acts that the creatures in the park play on us. We will take a hike to find some of their hiding places and create a camo-mask to help us blend in too!
Animal Tracks Saturday, December 20, 9-10am OR 10:30-11:30am
Somebody has been here, but WHOM?! Become a detective for the day and learn how to identify animals by looking at the tracks they leave behind.
