Patterson Park Audubon Center offers programs for all sizes.

Mean, Green and Growing Summer Camp:
The Mean, Green and Growing summer camp takes place in Patterson
Park, where students will investigate plants’ basic
needs, what makes wetland plants different, and how animals
use plants to meet their basic needs. Permission

Tiny Tot Safari—Interactive programs open to the
public designed to connect children ages 2-5 years with
nature.
Family and Adult Programs—Programs to interest
the entire family, opportunities for youth to volunteer
in the Park and varied programs to stimulate adult minds.
After-School Programs—The after-school program
gets students involved in the outdoors and helps them learn
more about Patterson Park’s natural world.
School Programs—The staff of Patterson Park Audubon
Center offers a variety of science lessons in the park,
which complement the Maryland Voluntary State Curriculum
and the Core Knowledge Curriculum. Our programs range from
Pre-Kindergarten to high school, with the majority of the
classes held right in Patterson Park.
Bird Walks—The Patterson Park Audubon Center conducts
free monthly bird walks open to the public on the last Saturday
morning of every month.
