The Gilbert Byron Society was founded in 1991 to cultivate an awareness and appreciation of literature and the environment through the perpetuation of the life, work and legacy of Gilbert Byron.  The Society is a subcommittee of the Pickering Creek Audubon Center's Board of Trustees, where Byron's cabin has been relocated and is being restored.  For more information, please call Jacques Baker at (410) 822-0328.
