Where to Bird in Minnesota
.

At the confluence of three major North American ecotypes; the boreal-hardwood forest, the eastern broadleaf forest, and the prairie parkland, Minnesota has an interesting diversity of birds and places to see them.

To help guide you to some of these places Audubon has produced bird trail guides for the Mississippi River and the Minnesota River Valley. We also recommend visiting Minnesota's Important Bird Areas.

The Minnesota Ornithologist's Union provides information on the latest rare or unusual birds seen in the state.
