Audubon Minnesota is dedicated to protecting Minnesota’s birds, other wildlife and their natural habitats. Continuing our vital work depends on generosity from people like you.

Private support is crucial to the future of Audubon Minnesota because:

• As a local organization, Audubon Minnesota’s budget is based on charitable contributions and program revenues and not on membership receipts. In fact, in Fiscal Year 2005, contributions, grants and other private support covered nearly two-thirds of our budget.
• Volunteers play an essential role in our operations. They provide needed expertise and valuable time that allows us to accomplish far more than we could without them. However, volunteers have limited availability, and a full-time staff allows us to substantially increase our effectiveness across a wide range of issues and programs.
• One person, inspired and informed by his or her Audubon Minnesota experience, can go on to make a lasting, positive impact on the natural world that sustains us.
