Caballo Lake State Park provides good opportunities to see Bald and Golden Eagles, Neotropic Cormorant, Common Merganser, Sandhill Crane and various gulls (W). The Park below the dam is best in migration and winter. The lake has several access points. Open and shut the gates, as ordered by the State Police.
