With watered plantings this cemetery offers good migrant and winter birding, especially where mature trees are dense. Curve-billed and Crissal Thrashers (R); Blue Grosbeak and Bullock’s Oriole (S).
Habitat: Planted trees such as Arizona cypress, mulberry and cottonwood.
Location: In Deming at Pine & Gold Streets, go east on Pine for 2.2 miles. The cemetery is on the south side. Open for cars 7:00 AM to 4:45 PM daily. Within the cemetery, park on the sides of the gravel lanes.
