Outstanding for spring migration. Common Black- Hawk, Common Poorwill, Elf Owl, Lucy’s Warbler and Summer Tanager (5). Gambel’s Quail, Bridled Titmouse and Northern Cardinal (R).
Habitat: Riparian sycamore and cottonwood forest; mesquite and oak scrub.
Location: From Silver City drive west on US 180 about 28 miles to Cliff. Turn right on NM 211 for about 1.5 miles. Fork left on NM 293. Continue for about 7 miles until the road dead ends in a USFS campground.  (The last mile is a gravel road.)  TNC preserve begins on the north side of the green gate.
