Located along the Rio Grande. Nearby flooded fields can sport Franklin’s Gull and Long-billed Curlew (M); and Mountain Bluebird (W). At the park, look for Black-crowned Night-Heron and Cinnamon Teal (R), and desert and riparian species.
Habitat: Riparian woodland and brush; agricultural fields; desert scrub.
Location: Take 1-25 to Exit 19 (Radium Springs). Go west for 1.5 miles to the entrance. Be sure to visit both sides of the river.
