Specialty birds include Montezuma Quail and Bridled
Titmouse (R); and Common Black-Hawk and Yellow- billed Cuckoo (S). Habitat: Riparian and oak woodlands. Location: From Silver City take U.S. 180 east for about 10 miles.
Turn east onto NM 152 and go to NM 35 North, near the town of San Lorenzo.
Follow NM 35 north along the west side of the Mimbres Valley. At 8.4 miles,
turn right into an unmarked driveway. Park on the left in front of an old
barn.
