Located in the small border town of Columbus, the planted cactus garden draws many desert scrub species including Cactus Wren and Curve-billed Thrasher (R). Migrant birding is often productive in the cottonwoods. Winter sparrows can be plentiful.
Habitat: Desert scrub and plantings.
Location: From Deming take NM 11 for 36 miles south to Columbus. The park is on the west side of the road on the south side of town.
