This may be the easiest location to find Bendire's Thrasher (5). White-tailed Kites (rare) have nested nearby. Cactus Wren (R); and Cassin’s Sparrow (5).
Habitat: Grassland; desert scrub; agricultural land.
Location: From Lordsburg go west on 1-10 to Exit 5 (Road Forks). Follow NM 80 south for 30 miles. State Line Road is 2 miles south of Rodeo and runs north for 4 miles, where it connects to NM 533. State Line Road becomes very slippery when wet.
