I am a founding member of Audubon Miami Valley and a chapter leader since 1974. I was my chapter's representative to the Ohio Audubon Council (OAC) serving as Secretary, Vice-president, President, and as a member of the Executive Committee. Later on I helped organize the Council of Audubon Chapters. In 1995, I received the NAS William Dutcher Award for Service to the Audubon Cause on a Regional Level. I was a member of the Strategic Planning committee that organized the Audubon Ohio. From 1999 to 2005, I served on the Board of the NAS. Since 1986, I have been office manager and art teacher at the McGuffey Foundation School, a small kindergarten through eighth grade private elementary school.
