Wonderful Winter Programs at the Green Mountain Audubon Center

Come discover a different side of the forest this winter at Beyond Timber: Foods, Medicines, and Crafts from the Forest. Join us as we follow the tracks wherever they lead us on a Wildlife Tracking program for adults. Become a member of our Monthly Bird Monitoring team and participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count.

For families, we plan to spend an evening exploring the forest by the light of the full moon on our Family Full Moon Walk. Join us for Family Craft Day as we create our favorite nature-inspired crafts.

Preschoolers will keep warm this winter with a Predator Prowl in December, Snug in the Snow in January, and Who’s Hooting? in February.

Tapping trees at Maple Sugaring Day.

Plan ahead for February’s School Vacation Days. Come build forts and roast marshmallows over a campfire at our Winter Survival Skills. Join us for a day of craft-making fun at Winter Crafts. Or kick off the start of mud season with a day that is all about making maple syrup at Maple Sugaring Day.

For more details, please visit our Winter Calendar of Events, and then call us to register for a program at (802) 434-3068.
