Take a Look...

National Audubon's campaigns focus on a variety of issues, all joined together by the common mission of building grassroots support for protecting birds and the ecosystems they depend on. The campaigns provide chapters and community members the opportunity to address national issues on the local level. Working together, we can make a difference!

-- Sr. Vice President for Campaigns Eric Draper, NAS; 102 E 4th Ave; Tallahassee FL 32303; ph: 850/224-7546; fax: 850/224-6056; e-mail: edraper@audubon.org.

Agricultural Policy Program

Audubon places a premium on the conservation benefits provided by farmlands. Our Agricultural Policy is focused on encouraging grassland and wetlands environmental benefits from farm programs. Much of the net gain in the nation's wetlands acres will come about from farmlands restored to seasonal pools, marshes and forested flood plains.

Director of Agricultural Policy: Maureen Kuwano Hinkle, NAS; 1901 Pennsylvania Ave, NW, Suite #1100; Washington, DC 20006; ph: 202/861-2242, ext. 3002; e-mail: mhinkle@audubon.org.

Endangered Species Campaign

To harness our field and grassroots strength in pursuit of an overarching goal: a strong and fully functioning federal Endangered Species Act to protect species that are in the greatest need. We couple this work with on-the-ground efforts by our members and staff to aid both listed and declining species, including proactive conservation measures to protect key habitat.

Campaign Director: Mary Minette, NAS; 1901 Pennsylvania Ave, NW, Suite #1100; Washington, DC 20006; ph:202/861-2242, ext. 3004; e-mail: mminette@audubon.org.
