from Glenn Olson, Field DirectorI am pleased to announce that Lynn Tennefoss has accepted the position of director for our new Chapter Development Office. Lynn will manage and direct all phases of chapter support services and the chapter leader database. She will work to build the capacity of Audubon's unique chapter network with the goal of enhancing each chapter's effectiveness, leadership, and impact in its community. Lynn will especially focus on providing support, training, and services to chapters in states without state programs. In those states, the primary goal will be to build their capacity to establish a state program. In states with state programs, she will work with state executive directors to implement programs and services that enhance the ability of chapters to work together in partnership to achieve their conservation and education goals. She will also have responsibility for publishing the Chapter Networker newsletter. Lynn comes to us with a tremendous breadth of Audubon chapter experience. She has served as president and editor of the Five Valleys Audubon Society in Missoula, Montana, and as managing director of the Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society, California, for 8 years. She taught at Audubon's Camp of the West in Dubois, Wyoming. Her background includes the production and editing of a number of Audubon publications, including A Citizen's Guide for Wetland Activists and the California Endangered Species Resource Guide.
