Join Project Feederwatch

Project FeederWatch is a joint National Audubon Society/Cornell Lab of Ornithology citizen-science project starting its thirteenth year this fall. Project organizers are hoping to sign up more Audubon members than ever before. Simply by watching their feeders, "FeederWatchers" make important contributions to our knowledge of North American feeder birds. But the project is more than bird monitoring. It's also fun and educational.

"FeederWatchers" are people of all ages and backgrounds, including National Audubon Society members/families, classroom students, nature center visitors, after-school groups, individuals, and others.

FOR MORE INFO.: To learn more and to see FeederWatch data in action, go to http://birdsource.cornell.edu/pfw. For a brochure or to sign up call 800/843-2473 (BIRD). There is a $15 annual fee. Participants receive a Project Kit plus the quarterly newsletter, Birdscope.
