Introducing Russ Sewall
Director of New Missouri State Office

WELCOME!

The twenty-second Audubon state office will open in September, 1999 in Jefferson City, Missouri, when Russ Sewell steps in as executive director of the Missouri State Audubon office. Russ and his family are moving from Minnesota, where he spent the last seven years as vice president and educational director for the non-profit Pheasants Forever. In that capacity, Russ managed and directed many educational initiatives, including The Leopold Education Project, a widely respected conservation/educational curriculum reaching 3000 teachers and conservation professionals and thousands of students, kindergarten through college, each year. With a background as a wildlife researcher, fisheries and wildlife director for the U.S. Dept. of the Interior, and an instructor/teacher, Russ brings a vast experience in planning, implementing teaching and directing educational organizations and programs to Audubon. Welcome!
