Audubon Centers in this Issue...
At the December board meeting our board of directors approved Audubon's 2020 Vision: 50 state offices building a network of 1,000 Audubon Centers, reaching one in four schoolchildren and leading to 1% of the population (2.7 million) becoming Audubon members.
In this issue of the Chapter Networker we introduce Tamar Chotzen, our new senior vice president for Audubon Centers, who will lead this initiative for Audubon. We also begin a focus on some of our existing Audubon Centers, whose example and impact in their communities helped inspire us to the 2020 Vision. One example is the center run by the Green Mountain Audubon chapter in the Burlington, Vermont area. Others will follow in subsequent issues of the Networker.
