Pennsylvania Audubon has published a curriculum guide on bird biology, habitat, identification, migration, research, and interactions between birds and people. Although much of the actual material is specific to state species, the concepts are transferable.

Pennsylvania Songbirds, A K-12 Teacher's Guide, was funded in part through a grant from the state's Wild Resource Conservation Fund.
