40th Annual Rivers & Wildlife Celebration

great way to learn about cranes. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and it is

Sixth Annual Crane Watchers’ Breakfast
March 27, 2010 Gibbon,
NE
Held at the American
Legion in Gibbon and hosted by the Gibbon Area Chamber of Commerce, this
breakfast is one you don’t want to miss. Great food to go with a great
wildlife spectacle. Breakfast

At Rowe Sanctuary
First Sundays at Rowe
The
next two
First Sundays at Rowe will be held
on March
7th and April 4th and if you want
to learn more about sandhill cranes, don't miss Crane 101. This fun,
casual program is designed to answer many of your crane related
questions. The program begins with an indoor presentation and, if time
and weather permits, concludes with a walk to one of our viewing blinds.
So bring your questions, your coat and walking shoes and be ready to have
some fun learning about cranes!

April 18, 2010 - Harlan Pankratz of
Kearney will be presenting on wildflowers. He is an avid wildflower
photographer and will be sharing images he has taken in Nebraska and the
surrounding states, as well as providing information about the plants
themselves.
