First Sundays at Rowe

This monthly opportunity for nature exploration will be held on the first Sunday of every month at the Iain Nicolson Audubon Center.  Activities will begin at 1 p.m.  For additional information or if you have questions, please contact us at 308-468-5282.

March 7 & April 4, 2010

Crane 101 - 2:30 p.m.
Want to learn more about sandhill cranes?  Then Crane 101 is for you and your family.  This fun, casual program is designed to answer many of your crane related questions.  The program begins with an indoor presentation and, if time and weather permits, concludes with a walk to one of our viewing blinds.  So bring your questions, your coat and walking shoes and be ready to have some fun learning about cranes!

Self-guided Hikes - Trail access is limited during March and April to a short section west of the Iain Nicolson Audubon Center.  Please check with a staff person or volunteer regarding trail access during this time.

Guided Hikes
Guided hikes will be done for the Crane 101 program if time and weather permit.

Note:  If you are an expert in the field of conservation or other nature oriented fields and are interested in becoming one of our presenters for First Sundays, please contact Keanna Leonard at 308-468-5282 or kleonard@audubon.org
