NAS Electronic Communications Policy

The Communications department of the National Audubon Society is heavily invested in electronic communications (particularly E*Mail and the World Wide Web).

Things to understand about NAS Communications:

We work for the Audubon family
Our goals are to help Audubon as a whole grow and be effective. It is important to understand that we see much of our task as helping Audubon members do our shared work.
We are interested
Please tell us what is important to you, and let us know how you think we're doing.

Suggestions and requests for working with us:

If you have a problem with something we're doing, please let us know ASAP.
Aside from the obvious importance of NAS knowing how we're perceived and receiving positive suggestions, it is much easier for us to effectively address private comments than public complaints.
We try to be quick and responsive
Simple questions we can often answer immediately. Many questions sent to webmaster@audubon.org are simply forwarded to an appropriate person for answering. Complicated questions (such as those involving more than two people) may take a week.
