Bird Madness: Soaring Sixteen #4

Round three of Bird Madness concluded with a win for the rufous hummingbird in a matchup with a black-and-white warbler. The voters have spoken. 

Our next matchup is of a western sandpiper versus an American kestrel. Choose your favorite of the two and that image will move on to the Egret Eight round. 

Voting will close at noon on Saturday, December 1st. 

For those of you who haven't voted during Bird Madness before, from now until the beginning of January 2013, we’ll be pitting some of the entries from this year’s Photo Awards (selected in no particular order) against one another for you to vote on. We’ll feature the winner on our website, along with an article about how she or he captured the shot.

In our January-February 2013 issue, we’ll feature the official winners of the awards, selected by our panel of judges.
