Removing Mentions of Climate Change from White House Website Ignores Reality

NEW YORK, N.Y.—Today, the White House website erased any mention of climate change. Climate change is the biggest threat facing birds and people, so the National Audubon Society issued the following response: 

“It will take a lot more than the stroke of a key to erase the effects of climate change, it will take a plan,” said David Yarnold (@david_yarnold), Audubon’s president and CEO. “As with the healthcare millions of Americans depend on, we expect President Trump to have a science-based replacement in hand to make progress toward confronting the climate crisis threatening our birds and our communities. If so, we at Audubon will be there at the table.”
