Black Guillemots lay their eggs each summer in rock crevices, avoiding areas where vegetation might hide predators. The adults dive deep in the water to catch fish and small crustaceans to bring back to their nestlings after they hatch.

The cam is monitored by volunteers at Hog Island Audubon Camp, and hosted online by Explore.org.
