Audubon Arkansas strives to conserve and restore natural ecosystems. No where is this more important than in our waterways. A main objective of Audubon is protecting habitat on-the-ground by restoring ecosystems. Our work will be futile if Arkansas does not create a state wide water policy plan that will protect these precious ecosystems. Therefore, Audubon works with legislators, government agencies, and community leaders to develop water policy and procedures that benefit the environment and the economy.
