Raptor Camp 2009:

In July 2009 two sessions of campers enjoyed a wide variety of bird and nature themed activities. Both sessions explored behind the scenes areas and had multiple encounters with our ambassador birds. Campers were constantly on the move with games, crafts, guest presenters and more.

Here is what some of the parents have to say about our camp…

He really enjoyed the camp and has been pointing out birds and their habits ever since. I like his being emerged in nature and understanding his role and the birds'. I'm very glad you had a camp and we look forward to it very much next summer! - Karen Simasek-Santos

Walker loved the camp and learned a lot as he continually educates us on the raptors. It is all he talks about. It was a good experience for him, and for us as well, to see him so excited about the birds and their environment. – Susan Simasek

For Raptor Camp 2010 Building on the success of last summer’s camp, we plan to expand our offerings. In addition to holding a session for Eaglets and Junior Rehabbers, we will add a session for students in grades four to six. There is also the possibility of additional sessions depending on registration demands. Registration for 2010 will be available by March 2010 and posted on our web site.
