Audubon Missouri held its annual membership meeting October 4th, 2008 in Cole Camp, Missouri. Audubon members and leaders from across the state gathered to collaborate and share ideas on current activities and future direction. Highlights included dinner, an annual meeting where a new slate of officers was elected to the Audubon State Board, as well as presentations from Audubon chapters and programs. An early morning interpretive hike was held at Hi Lonesome Prairie where the group heard the prairie come alive under a beautiful sunrise. Northern Harriers, Coopers Hawks, Northern Bobwhite Quail all graced us to round out a good weekend. October 17-19—Midwest Upper Audubon Conference
The Dubuque Iowa Audubon Society is hosting the Upper Midwest Audubon Conference in Dubuque, Iowa. It will be a very informative weekend with fellow Partners in Conservation. John Flicker is the keynote speaker. Click here to learn more about the conference and how to register.

November 21-23—ASM State Park Birding Weekend
ASM has agreements with DNR and MDC to collect and record birding data for state parks and conservation areas. This birding weekend provides an opportunity for birders to share the fun as we focus on a few of these target sites, birding in small teams. For more information, see trip info here.

December 6—Missouri Environmental Summit
