Chermia Hoeffner is Vice President of Human Resources for the National Audubon Society. Talented staff are Audubon’s greatest asset and the organization is committed to attracting and retaining the best in the field.
Chermia has over fifteen years’ experience working within organizations to attract and retain strong talent, as well collaborating with senior executives and managers on organizational structure and growth. She is responsible for leading a team of highly-skilled and experienced human resources professionals who are charged with leading key employee experience and engagement initiatives throughout the National Audubon Society.
Prior to joining the National Audubon Society, Chermia spent five years at the Environmental Defense Fund where she oversaw, developed and managed the full-range of international and domestic human resources functions. Her private sector experience includes senior-level roles in legal, financial services and human resources management consulting. In addition to her career as a human resources professional, Chermia was a volunteer mentor for four years with iMentor.
