Juan Montano is a River Pathways Mackenzie Fellow at Audubon Arizona. Montano loves hiking, backpacking, and learning about native Arizona wildlife. He brings multiple years of experience of working in non-profit organizations. Previously, Montano taught a comprehensive STEM program and served as a robotics mentor to at risk 7th & 8th grade students as well as volunteered with Arizona’s Game and Fish department and facilitated outdoor nature experiences for large and small groups. As a Mackenzie fellow, Montano will combine his love of nature and expertise in leadership.
