
Suz Dixon
Senior Vice President, FlywaysSuz Dixon joined Audubon as Vice President, Mississippi Flyway at the end of 2020. In her role, Suz drives Audubon’s strategic direction and helping develop and support our grassroots network of state offices, local chapters, nature centers, volunteers and partners. As Mississippi Flyway lead, she oversees the following offices: Dakotas, Great Lakes, Minnesota/Upper Mississippi, Nebraska, Texas, and Delta.
Prior to joining Audubon, Suz served as President & CEO at the Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC) where she established a regional structure that boosted staff leadership potential and streamlined stakeholder, volunteer, and agency partner communications. She also served as Senior Director, Regional Operations at the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA). She currently serves on the board of directors for the Waco Mammoth Foundation and the Lone Star Coastal Alliance and on the Advisory Board of the East Coast Greenway. Suzanne holds degrees from Inchicore College in Dublin, Ireland and the University of Leicester in the UK.
