It is Corkscrew's 68th anniversary year under the protection of the National Audubon Society.  Corkscrew's ancient bald cypress forest is the world's largest remaining old growth bald cypress forest and was protected from logging in 1954.   Join us for a 2.25-mile tour on our boardwalk of the ancient forest highlighting Corkscrew history, ecology, storytelling and landmark ancient cypress trees. There are occasional opportunities for rest along the way.

Timeframe: 9 a.m. to noon. This is a 2.25-mile walking tour that takes about 3 hours. 

Limit: 10 people​

Cost:    $25 per person (includes Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary boardwalk admission) for non-Corkscrew members

              $20 per person (includes Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary boardwalk admission) for National Audubon members.

              $10 per person for Friends of Corkscrew members.

Registration & Payment:

Registration is open on the day of the program, but we recommend that you register in advance, as there is a 10 participant limit.

Please meet your guide behind the admissions desk inside the Visitor Center 15 minutes before the start of the program.
