Ventura Audubon Society Field Trip: Malibu Creek State Park

Malibu Creek State Park (Los Angeles County) is located within the Santa Monica Mountains, and is the former site of the 20th Century Fox movie ranch. Malibu Creek is the principal watercourse of the Santa Monica Mountains that ends at Malibu Lagoon. The stream side trails wind through oak and sycamore woodlands on chaparral-covered slopes with spectacular views and abundant bird life. Day use fee per car.

Directions: From 101 exit south on Los Virgenes, go straight, the park entrance will be on the right a little past the Mullholland Drive intersection. We will meet in the parking lot.
