Hay Creek - French Creek Forest Block
The IBA includes portions of what is known as the Hopewell Big Woods, an area that encompasses 73,000 acres. The Hopewell Big Woods Partnership was formed to ensure the protection of the economic, ecological, recreational, cultural and historic values of the region, and remains active in pursuing this mission.
This site ranked in the top 10% for forest blocks in BCR 29 (Piedmont).
