Located at the ecotone between the western edge of the Edwards Plateau and eastern edge of the Chihuahuan Desert. Oak/Shin Oak/Juniper Shrublands on shallow limestone soils, with large live oaks along creeks, and Chihuahuan Desert scrub. Includes habitat for endangered Black-capped Vireos and a number of other species of concern. Managed by the Nature Conservancy.
