Centrally located in the heart of Los Angeles yet tucked away among the natural environment of Debs Park, the Audubon Center at Debs Park is truly a hidden gem that provides the best of both worlds for your next special event.  

Whether you’re looking to host a meeting, team retreat, workshop, outdoor festival, kid’s birthday party, or wedding – our team is here to help make your vision a reality with the natural beauty of Debs Park as your backdrop!  

The income that we receive through facility rentals goes directly towards supporting our habitat restoration, youth leadership, and community engagement work here at the Center!

For all rental inquiries, please contact debspark@audubon.org with your desired and alternate date(s), time(s) and a brief description of your event. Rental reservations are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

Discovery Room

The Discovery Room is a great multi-purpose classroom space that is best suited for large meetings, trainings, workshops, and lessons. With the windows and doors open, the Discovery Room provides a unique hybrid indoor/outdoor experience. The desks and chairs may be rearranged to suit the needs of your event.

Included in Your Rental:

  • Six 6-ft classroom tables (each table seats 3-6) 

  • Chairs (default number of chairs will be 36, unless additional chairs are requested)  

  • WIFI internet 

  • Available AV amenities: Digital projector and Meeting Owl for video conferencing (upon request)

  • AC 

  • Sink  

  • Use of shared kitchen space (food and drink storage only)

  • Use of microwave, coffee maker, and tea available (upon request)

  • Use of shared restrooms  

  • Additional tables for sign-in or food service purposes (upon request) 

  • Welcome and intro to the space provided by Audubon Center staff (upon request) 

Max Capacity:

50-60 people (seats around 36 individuals comfortably)

Cost:

  • $550 full day / $400 half day (half day rentals are from 7:45am-11:45am or 12pm-4pm including set up and clean up)

  • NONPROFIT RATE: $450 full day / $300 half day (half day rentals are from 7:45am-11:45am or 12pm-4pm including set up and clean up)

Wes Craven Library

The Wes Craven Library is a wonderful space to host a team meeting, small community gathering, or retreat. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Debs Park as you gather and collaborate!  

Included in Your Rental:

  • 12 Chairs (additional chairs available upon request)

  • AC (weather permitting)

  • Available AV amenities: Digital projector and Meeting Owl for video conferencing (upon request)

  • Use of shared kitchen space (food and drink storage only)

12-15 people (conference table sits 12 comfortably)  

Cost:

  • $375 full day / $275 half day (half day rentals are from 7:45am-11:45am or 12pm-4pm including set up and clean up)

  • NONPROFIT RATE: $300 full day / $200 half day (half day rentals are from 7:45am-11:45am or 12pm-4pm including set up and clean up)
