Volunteer Opportunity

Our native plant and pollinator gardens provide both beautiful and educational spaces for visitors and support wildlife. Whether you’re keen on getting your hands dirty, have a good eye for labeling, and/or are interested in learning more about native plant ecology, we want to hear from you! You can help maintain these garden spaces during the spring, summer, and fall seasons. It does help if you have some knowledge of weeds and native plant species, but not required. We ask that prospective volunteers comply with the following:

  • Be at least 16 years of age.
  • Provide your own transportation to the Sharon Audubon Center.
  • Be willing and prepared to work your shift in varying weather conditions, within reason.
  • Volunteer at least one shift/week.
