An afterschool curriculum exploring conservation careers.

Looking for a great after-school or summer program to keep learning going for your middle to early high school students? WILDLIFE EXPLORERS introduces students to five conservation careers and community roles: Ornithologist, Entomologist, Botanist, Soil Scientist, and Aquatic Scientist. The curriculum, filled with activities, introduces real-world problems and has the students conduct simple research to create solutions. This program was created with the help of BEYOND SCHOOL BELLS and the Nebraska Children & Families Foundation. There are two resource and equipment kits available – one here at Spring Creek Prairie and one with Beyond School Bells – for teachers/administrators to use with this curriculum. The kits are free to borrow.
