The Audubon Center at Debs Park is a natural jewel in the heart of Los Angeles where community and nature meet.

We have two primary goals at Audubon Center at Debs Park: We restore habitat for birds and other wildlife at Debs Park and along the L.A. River and we restore the connection between people and the land in Los Angeles. As the first center that the National Audubon Society built within an urban environment to specifically engage the Latino community, the Audubon Center at Debs Park plays an important role in building a more diverse and inclusive conservation movement here in Los Angeles and beyond.

Make Things Better Together

Community members help keep Debs Park a great place for people, pollinators of all types, and birds. In 2024, we worked together to create a space that supports pollinators with beautiful California native plants such as Hummingbird Sage and California Fuchsia. When you visit, you can see the amazing transformation through the year, made only possible through staff and volunteers like you!
