Education Programs at Grange Insurance Audubon Center

We offer nature-based programs for all ages!

The Grange Insurance Audubon Center offers Columbus students a unique opportunity to explore nature right in their own backyard. One of just a few urban Audubon Centers, our location demonstrates the adaptivity and resilience of nature.

Conservation Classroom

Conservation Classroom is a year-long nature-based STEAM field trip experience. Partner classrooms have the opportunity to visit GIAC two or three times throughout the school year for continued environmental education. Students engage in activities such as invasive species removal, bird surveys, and native tree planting. Conservation Classroom meets Ohio state science standard 4.LS.1.

Please contact Anne Scott, Education Engagement Coordinator, at anne.scott@audubon.org for more information about 2026-2027 school year partnerships.

Field Trip Experiences

Field trip programs for students are a supportive extension of the learning already taking place in your classroom.  Choose a theme from our program guide, and our educators will work with you to create an engaging experience. Refer to our Education Program Guide for full details.

Adult Programs

Our adult talks and programs are a great fit for garden club workshops, adult learning groups, lunch and learn programs, and much more! Topics include birding, bird migration, and native plants. See our Adult Education Programs flyer for full details.
