What is a Field Venture?
Think field study and fun! Led by one of our Montezuma Audubon Center educators, guests will enjoy a thematic, interactive, inquiry-based experience! Field Ventures take place in and around the center and bring learning alive. Each Field Venture lasts about 1-1.5 hours and has students make observations and participate in interactive activities.
All of our programs meet Next Generation Science Standards and New York State P-12 Science Learning Standards and can be tailored to meet the needs of your group.
Scheduling and Logistics
$130 for the first Field Venture and $100 for each additional session, in addition to a School Admission fee of $5 per student. Each Field Venture session is limited to 20 students.
A $50 deposit is required at the time of booking, deducted from the total cost. A full refund will be issued if the Montezuma Audubon Center cancels. If a school cancels with less than 3 weeks' notice, the $50 deposit will be forfeited.
